the drama of it all

pulling from interior design trends and not for the faint of heart: dark & moody event design dials up the drama and romance.

like that floral wallpaper you’ve been crushing on, but translated into your tablescape for the same sophisticated-sexy look.

candlelight, vintage accents, and metallics add class to this aesthetic.

black, plum, and blood red are obvious choices to pull of this noir-themed vibe …

while, blush, and neutrals add contrast and romance.

neon signs fit in perfectly, creating the feeling of being in a nightclub or late nights under city lights.

polish up the look with geometric and gold accents, crystal stemware, and white tablecloths.

go gothic with raw-edge wood, dried features, and candelabras

add a boudoir feel with a lounge that is heavy on tufted velvet and rich jewel tones.

skip white dinnerware and opt for black or charcoal — meals plate gorgeously on darker tones.

Krystle Simms, of Poppykock, pairs her island-upbringing and affinity for ikebana-style arranging to create architectural and tropical florals unlike any you’ve seen before, her use of black and dark tones dials up the sex appeal of her designs.

Krystle transforms palms, ginger, anthuriums and more into modern and minimalist arrangements that always make a statement in boutiques, restaurants and intimate events.
